Nagomi Shabu Shabu & Sushi Bar @ Menara Hap Seng, KL

Advertorial.

Hello readers! Last week I was invited to a food review event with 40 awesome bloggers and their partners. Our location for the scrumptious dinner is:

Nagomi @ Menara Hap Seng

Suite 1-19, 1st Floor,
The Podium,
Menara Hap Seng (Formerly Mui Plaza),
Jalan P. Ramlee, 50250 Kuala Lumpur.

Tel: +603 2141 6332

More often than that, I was turned down by most of the steamboat restaurants with warm, stuffy ambience which made me sweating and feeling sticky after a no-matter-how-delicious-it-is meal. But, Nagomi now gives me a total different perception towards steamboat! It can be clean and tidy; and I can sit as long as I want to enjoy the heavenly foodstuff.
NAGOMI is a Home-style Japanese Restaurant! Naturally Delicious and Healthy!
You can have the Japanese cuisine that satisfied, happy, warm, comfortable and many more!!
Are you a fan of Shabu-Shabu Steamboat?

You’re here at the right time!
Nagomi @ Menara Hap Seng is having promotion now:

Shabu-shabu Buffet for Adult @ RM32.80++ (not including drinks)
And for Children (5 -12 year-old) RM18.80++

Operating hours:
Weekdays (6.00pm – 10.00pm): DINNER ONLY
Weekends (including Sundays) and Public Holidays
(12.00pm – 2.30pm, 6.00pm – 10.00pm): BOTH LUNCH AND DINNER
Visit this place after 5pm or during weekends and public holidays to enjoy RM3 flat parking rate!

There's another outlet of Nagomi Japanese Restaurant @ Jaya 33, Ground Floor, Petaling Jaya (Tel: +603-7956 2330), but this Shabu-Shabu Buffet promotion is only available at this outlet @ Menara Hap Seng.

Meet our cheerful Ms. Debbie Wong, the Advertising and Promotion Senior Executive of the company and Mr. Jack Chan, the Head Chef of Nagomi Japanese Restaurant! They're briefing us on the over 80 choices of food available there. *excited after knowing that there are so many to choose from!*

Mr. Jack Chan, the Head Chef is preparing sushis for us!
I'm a huge fan of freshly-made sushi. That's why I said this shabu-shabu buffet gave a total different feel as compared to other restaurants out there! Part of it is because of my darling sushis :P

From the buffet bar, you can see there are more than 80 varieties of food for you to choose. I really feel like eating everything until the maximum capacity of my stomach is reached!

Carlsberg Beer Promotion; I bet this attracts you more?
Carlsberg per bucket (5 bottles) at only RM30++

#1 Meat: Chicken, Beef, Lamb and Duck
They’re all nicely cut into thin slices and allow you to eat them half-raw or cooked.
TIPS: Intersperse the cooking of meat with other green-leaf vegetables and tofu.

#2 Seafood: Yabby lobster, Slipper lobster, Half Shell Scallop, Oyster, Mussel,
Bamboo Clam, Flower crab,  Pomfret, Tiger Prawn, White Clam and many more.

I have sensitive skin towards crustaceans,
so I only choose mussels and clams while seeing others enjoying their yummy-looking prawns and lobsters.

#3 Salmon Sashimi is served during “Happy Hour”,
and the diners can crazily grab as many plates as you want!
#4 Assorted deep fried dishes--- lobsters, squids, etc.
Time for you to try them in a different taste!
#5 Assorted Sushi; This is the best part for me because I simply loveeee sushis!
#6 It's Tamago Yaki, my favourite Omelette Cake.
You can always grab some sushi and tempura while waiting for the soup to get boiled :)
But don't fill up your stomach with too much of these, else you'd regret.
#7 Assorted Vegetables
I believe you need something to cleanse your digestive system as well.
#8 Assorted mushrooms

TIPS: For a more flavorful broth and to bring out the taste of meat, first, cook all the white vegetables, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, onions and leeks to enrich the broth that will later bring out the sweetness of the meat.

#9 Dessert time! With red bean and mango puddings.
Other than desserts, Nagomi also serves fruits and green salad to satisfy your meal.
#10 Assorted sauces:
Ponzu (Japanese Vinegar), Goma Sauce (Sesame sauce), Thai Chili Sauce, Nyonya Sauce, Wafu Dressing (Japanese Vinaigrette), Shoyu Dressing (Soy bean based dressing) and Kyuri Dressing (Cucumber based dressing)
Not to forget, there are 3 types of soup pastes: Kimuchi paste, Ginger paste, Spicy Miso Toban paste (Japanese bean paste). Add them into the boiling broth according to your taste!

TIPS:  Clear ponzu sauce is also great to accompany vegetables, and to suit the Malaysians’ taste bud, there’s always the Chili dipping sauce.

Yeeing, Ryan, Simon, Masako, Ivy and FiSh
Look at all of our smiling faces, and you can see that we're satisfied with the meal.

Craving for more?
Readily-made Wafu Dressing is available @ RM 12.90 each;
it would certainly perfect your bowl of home-made salad!

Hope you enjoy a perfect Nagomi Shabu-shabu experience too.
Stay tuned at Nagomi Official Site and its Facebook Page  for more updates, discounts and promotions!
