Ettora @ Solaris Dutamas

When it comes to special occasions or celebrations, I always place much concern on choosing a perfect gift. But more often than that, we receive gifts that lacked quality or hampers filled with unnecessary products. Goodbye to these frustrations because now I have Ettora which provides classy gourmet gift hampers!

Spot the wide selections of French chateau wines and champagnes!

Displayed on the exquisite rack, here's a wide range of decadent cookies that come in bright coloured containers, fruit cake, chocolates, gift hamper boxes, champagnes and wines for your picking. Look at how extensive the gift items are at Ettora!

The origins of Ettora comes from Ettore — from an old Italian boy’s name which means loyal. While Ettora is the feminine version. Hmm, a loyal female, I assume?

Established recently, Ettora is a World Class Gourmet Gift company located in Solaris Dutamas with outlets opening soon at The Gardens Mall and Great Eastern Mall.

There I head to the gift shop cafe, and appreciate high tea set @ RM29.90.

#1 Organic Tea @ RM8 each

Here are 6 types of fully certified and imported organic teas, which enable me to sit back and relax. So mind-soothing they are!

Organic Tea from left to right:
Ginger Glow; English Breakfast; Earl Grey; Chamomile; Green Sencha; Black Chai

Recommended; It's one of the best organic tea I've tried. The ginger glow tea bag is a special blend for the health conscious consisting of ginger, lemon grass, hibiscus flowers and calendula flowers. Perfectly good to stimulate blood circulation, to aid digestion and to warm the body when feeling cold.

#2 Fruitcakes @ RM9

Bursting with mixed dried fruits and nuts, each piece of this decadent cake is moist and crunchy. It's a good piece to satisfy my cravings indeed.

#3 Food for the Gods Brownie @ RM9

Best served with coffee or tea, a scrumptious piece of moist chocolate brownie cake is filled with loads of dates and walnuts. The crunchiness is simply irresistible here! On top of that, it suits those who have slightly lower tolerance towards sugar as well.

 #4 Cookies Assortment @ RM12

Ettora’s six varieties of cookies include:
  • Melting Moments
  • Luxury Oat Almond
  • Chocolate Chip Macadamia
  • White Cranberry Chocolate Chip
  • Hazelnut Shortbread
  • Oatmeal Raisin
The former 4 are among the best-selling products in Ettora.
offering wholesome cookies that are rich and buttery, with a lasting impression on the tastebuds.

The signature cookie at Ettora, "Melting Moments" is like a macaroon at the first glance. It is indeed a heavenly buttery cookie sandwiched with vanilla lemon cream. I enjoy it so much as it slowly melts in my mouth with a tinge of sweet and sour tastes.

This star-shaped cookie is called the "Hazelnut Shortbread", with a buttery blend of freshly ground hazelnuts.

Other freshly-baked tasty cookies from Ettora’s kitchen include:

Left: White Chocolate Cranberry, a crunchy cookie with hints of cranberry goodness.
Middle: Luxury Oat Almond, a wholesome biscuit made with pure oats and almonds.
Right: Chocolate Chip Macadamia, a decadent chocolate chip cookie enrobed with macadamia nuts.

#5 Belgian Chocolate Assortment @ RM49

Here are some imported chocolates in rectangular shape. They are mostly based with hazelnut paste and coated with milk, cream or caramel. Once the chocolate melts in my mouth, I feel the nutty hazelnut oozes out; What an enjoyment it is!

This is a little special, because the white ball-shaped one is actually "Boule witk Mokka Creme Fraiche", which is translated to be "Boule White Mocha Whipped Cream". Sealed with a layer of white mocha, the filing of whipped cream gives a snowy effect and it's best served cold.

The filing for each Belgian chocolate is unique that it keeps me craving for more now!

#6 Caffe Latte @ RM9

If you prefer more caffeines, this is one of the famous gourmet coffees. And I believe this serves as a good treat to start or finish your day!

#7 Espresso @ RM9

Apart from the mouth-watering high tea set, I'm amazed with the vast selections of jams imported from an award-winning jam manufacturer in Australia.

The spread of flavours include:
  • Spiced Mango Chutney Jam
  • Apricot Vanilla Conserved Jam
  • Lemon Infused Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Saffron Citrus Marmalade Jam
  • Tomato Kasundi Jam
  • Strawberry Jam
  • Onion Jam
  • Chilli Jam

I fall in love with such lovely, exquisite packaging for the jam. From the classy look itself, I want to try the jam badly!

Instead of offering her customers rattan baskets or wired baskets, Ettora’s elegant white gift boxes are filled with wholesome quality products. The gift boxes are usually enhanced with ribbons for extra styling. The gift boxes are priced from RM 120 to RM 2000.

Even a simple box of Belgian chocolate is perfect as a sincere gift.

The most luxury gourmet gift boxes is this: Double Grand Gourmet Gift Box @ RM1304.60,
consisting of:
  • Dona Paula Melbec
  • Moet & Chandon Rose
  • 16 pieces of imported Belgian Chocolate
  • Luxury Fruit Cake
  • Gourmet jam
  • Organic tea
Whoever can buy me this, I'll love you from head to toe, HAHA!

Find it troublesome to collect the gift? Ettora makes no hassle for you as they deliver the gift boxes worldwide using the courier service. Come visit Ettora, and you'd enjoy the gourmet heaven!

  16. I was admiring all the lovely desserts but what caught my attention is the different types of tea and jam spread. Of course, the exclusive wine selection found at the outlet. Another place for my to check out soon when at Solaris, a place I seldom go to due to the distance from where I work and stay.
