Although the packaging is a light-weight plastic, it appears classy and of course sturdy enough to hold its content. Inspired by the shine of traditional red porcelain, this Maybelline Red Porcelain lipstick is enriched with honey nectar and a milky lotion to give it a creamy feel on the lips. It protects lips against dryness so that lips feel soft and luxuriously rich.
The red colour turns out very shiny, intense and brilliant on Asian skin!
Just one stroke and the color stays on my skin even after contact with water.
Believe it or not, the intense red colour is produced upon only one application! It feels smooth and light on the lips, but not as milky and moisturizing as I'd have expected. Well, I can't ask more for the price.
VERDICT
What I like about this:
- The very multi-dimensional, rich colour effect! ♥♥
- Only one application for the intense and shiny effect.
- The non-drying and smooth texture. Simply light and milky.
- It doesn't break easily upon application.
What I don't like about this:
- It doesn't moisturize my lips much, but it certainly doesn't make my lips feel dry or chapped.
- A very seasonal colour that suits for only certain occasions and functions.
