Milk & Butter @ Bangsar x Xpax Buka Puasa

Milk and Butter evolves as one of the hottest breakfast and coffee venues in Bangsar recently. I heard that their breakfast set is awesome but have you tried the Asian delights from Milk and Butter? 

Simple decors with some inspiring quotes hung on the wall form a very cozy ambiance 

for the interior of the cafe under warm lighting condition.

Courtesy to Xpax for inviting me over for a dinner date in conjunction to 

the month of fasting for the Muslims. Jom berbuka puasa dengan XPAX!

The cafe has transformed into a private venue for a sumptuous buffet spread comprising of piping hot chicken rendang, deep fried chicken, vegetarian pasta, satay, sausages, salad and lots of food to stuff our stomach during the evening! 

Let's attack the buffet bar! I was delighted that Milk & Butter is not only good at whipping out American breakfast and delectable cakes, but also does a great job for preparing the local delicacies.

From the must-have Nasi Beriyani and Rendang to the succulent satay, 

every spoonful is a delight to the eye and satisfaction for the stomach. Yummy!

And we had Liyana Fizi, the local artist to serenade us with local and English acoustic music 

after the dinner. She's such a talented songwriter and a sweet lady to boot :)

Xpax had prepared something sweet for us too! I was unboxing the little surprise in a black box, labelled "Fragile; Handle with care". Oh how would you have thought it was a pretty handcrafted cake!

The chocolate cake has a wristwatch on it, guess why? Well, let me explain to you!
