Review: BENE Premium Bluria & Rougeria Hair Care

The recently launched BENE Premium Bluria & Rougeria Hair Care from Japan are finally up on racks at Watsons store in Malaysia. Actually I have always wanted to change my current shampoo and hair care, because my hair condition has not been improving since my last bleach. So I thought, well why not try out BENE Premium?

I couldn't decide whether the purplish Bluria range for scalp care or pink Rougeria range for damaged hair is more suitable for me. So I got both the ranges and use them together on alternate basis, following the Japanese's 4 simple steps towards healthy scalp and beautiful hair!

Rougeria series best suits dry and damaged hair, especially if you always introduce heat and chemicals to your hair (Blow dry, straightening, perming, and coloring). Well, as a blogger, hair styling is often unavoidable for me, so it's time to allow its Red Enzymes content as well as Damask Rose honey, Argan oil and Apricot oil to soothe and heal my hair.

Actually it's my first time hearing hair care with vegetables and fruits enzymes! Amazing right?

BENÉ Premium Rougeria Delicious Repair Shampoo (530ml)

The shampoo itself is colorless, but I love its ultra delicate sweet floral fragrance that brings my heart to a rose garden! The bubbles contain organic oils to nourish the scalp, hydrate and smoothen the hair from root to tip.

Unlike the commercial shampoos loaded with harmful silicons that 'clog' the pores of the hair, BENE Premium does not leave on any 'smooth' sensation immediately after wash, meaning no more slippery floor after shower! This is because, it is 100% silicon-free for the better health of the hair.

Similarly, the non-silicone conditioner is creamy and not as slippery, but does a great job in intensively nourishing hair, leaving it silky and supple. Just apply 2 pumps from middle to the end of the hair, and rinse off.

The honey-sweet hair mask smells so awesome, especially when I massage it onto my towel-dried hair. As it delivers intensive hydration and shine, I prefer leaving it on for 5 minutes for better absorption before rinsing it off with warm water. 

BENÉ Premium Rougeria Delicious Repair Hair Oil (40ml)

For final finishing or styling, I usually avoid oil-based product because of its greasiness. But this Rougeria hair repair oil is amazing as it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any sticky residue. 2 pumps are sufficient for my shoulder-length hair, but you can consider up to 3 pumps for smooth and supple touch.

Bluria series is my doctor for scalp care! The brand expert from Japan mentioned during the launch event that most hair issues arise from the scalp. So if you want to rescue the hair, everything should begin from the scalp.

The range is entirely free of silicone, but Bluria is rich in green vegetable enzymes (Avocado, cucumber, kiwi) which contains great antioxidants to strip away all the impurities and repair the scalp for healthy hair.

Moroccan clay and sea mineral in the Bluria shampoo will cleanse the scalp, and clear any residue. The scent is something you'd love if you're not into sweet florals, as it gives a more refreshing sensation to the scalp! 

The treatment (conditioner) gives a lighter finishing as compared to the one in Rougeria series. But its moisture level is slighter lower. Nevertheless, it's best to pair the treatment with shampoo and use them on a daily basis.

For the hair mask, you can use it up to 3 times weekly to restore the hair from within. I love its benefits of healing my bleached hair ends with its green enzymes and herbal extracts concentrated in this cream-based hair mask ;)

BENÉ Premium Bluria Delicious SPA Night Care Milk (115ml)

Lastly, the damage care milk is for intensive hydration and shine from root to tip. Time to ditch those greasy hair oil! I love how lightweight it is, and one pump is sufficient for my shoulder-length hair. Just apply it before sleep, and let it absorb throughout the night. 

So.....Rougeria or Bluria?

Now are you wondering which is better? If you have dry or damaged hair, my advice is: Get BOTH ranges, and you wouldn't regret! In fact, all BENÉ products come at only one affordable price- RM43.90 each. For such an awesome salon quality hair care, I think it's worth every penny!
