Review: Hydra Vegetal Intense Hydrating Mask by Yves Rocher

Combating the hot and dry weather during this festive season, I'm glad to have the newly launched Hydration Mask-- Hydra Vegetal Intense Hydrating Mask from Yves Rocher to protect my skin from drying and aging.

The common face mask I see either comes in sheets, or in jars / containers. But this spa-facial mask is rather unique as it is packaged in a tube like the hand creams I have. It is therefore more hygienic as the content will not be exposed to the air each time I use it.

Texture wise, the lotion-like cream is very lightweight and easy to spread on skin and cover all corners and surface of the face. It is so easy to use that you can just slap on a thin layer of the mask and wipe off the excess using cotton wool pad. 

I personally love the quick absorption of the active ingredients, and it doesn't leave sticky feeling on skin. After spreading it evenly over the skin, it is fully absorbed and leaves no residue after 5 minutes. The instantaneous effect is visible as the skin becomes more supple and replenished, as if plumped up from within.

Within the 5 minutes mask time, I can easily do anything I want (like basic manicure!) while leaving it on the skin.
