STARTER
Blue Mussels with Garlic Lemon Butter Sauce @ RM13.95
We start off our seafood feast with the popular light bites that keep us glued on our seats. Served in a pan, the blue mussels are drizzled with creamy garlic sauce that exudes rich buttery aroma. Simply add a zest of lemon juice and you'll be surprised by the instant lift on the taste of seafood goodness.
Don't forget to dip the crispy toast into the buttery sauce and savour it with the succulent mussels too! For those who prefer starters with Asian touch, you may go for the Clams with Curry Butter or Sambal Sauce (RM13.95).
FISH & CHIPS FROM AROUND THE WORLD
Fish & Co.'s No.1 signature dish goes to the Classic Best Fish & Chips in Town (RM16.95), but we opt for something with little twist in it. Forking into the Swiss fish and chips, it unravels warm, melting cheese from within. The fillet itself is a winning taste, so I'd just skip the complimentary garlic lemon butter sauce.
SEAFOOD
Salmon Teriyaki @ RM27.95
As for the main course, the variety of fresh seafood served here includes swordfish collar, salmon, white fish, seabass, Atlantic Pollock as well as prawns. Each is served with a choice of 2 sides such as seasonal vegetables, rice, chips, mashed potatoes and homemade coleslaw. If you're a fan of salmon, we'd recommend the sashimi-grade salmon grilled with spicy teriyaki sauce to spice up your day.
The grilled salmon is packed with oceanic goodness, especially when topped with spicy teriyaki sauce that brings a balance of spicy, savoury sweetness in the dish. However, it would be better to have an extra helping of the sauce.
SEAFOOD PLATTERS
Seafood Platter for 1 @ RM29.95
Can't decide which to order? You can enjoy them all in this all-time favourite platter of grilled prawns, white fish and grilled calamari served with paella rice, crispy chips and tartar sauce. The generous portion is definitely sufficient to feed up to two persons.
Grilled Calamari, Grilled Prawns, White Fish
The succulent prawns are butterflied, grilled and then drizzled with buttery sauce, yet manages to lock moisture and flavours from within. I can easily chow down all the prawns all by myself! Also, thumbs up to the slightly sticky paella rice; Nicely flavoured with raisin and capsicum, and not being too salty or soggy.
MOCKTAILS
With all the good food, it's time to wash it down with an extensive range of floats, fruit blends, juices and mocktails. Among the signature drinks is the Lychee Mojito, a refreshing Cuban concoction of mint leaves and lime with a hint of subtle sweetness from the lychee.
BLENDS
Jungle Freeze @ RM10.95
Look at the gigantic size! Pineapples, rambutans and tropical fruits. Tarzan would be proud!
SWEET LURES
Chocolate Pecan Cluster @ RM11.95
I guess the only food that is not served in a pan is the dessert. Sitting on a base of moist chocolate cake, the chocolatey brownie cubes are layered between pecans with generous toppings of gooey caramel and sinful chocolate ganache. Bite them all at once, and enjoy the bursting flavours and texture in your palate! Recommended for sharing otherwise it'd be a tad overcloying.
Verdict:
1. Overall, it's all about comfort food in Fish & Co. Recommended for family diners.
2. The menu is so extensive that you just can't make up your mind sometimes. Even non-seafood lovers will be delighted to find a good range of pasta, baked rice and pizza on the menu.
3. Recommended: Seafood Platter for 1 (or 2), Chocolate Pecan Cluster
