Fashion Lookbook: Versatile Pieces from NewChic

Pretty long sleeve dresses, yay or nay? ❤

Currently into European style fashion, I have been browsing through a handful of online boutiques but unfortunately the varieties are very limited among Malaysian-based blogshops. Until I bump into Newchic.com, I realize overseas sites have more trendy stuff to offer.


NewChic sells readystock and pre-order apparels, bags, accessories and even beauty products all under one roof! As the currency is denominated in USD, I prefer using PayPal instead of credit card to make my payment. Another concern is that overseas shipping may cost slightly more, but I always try to make my purchase with my friends and share the shipping costs :)

Sleeveless Pocket Long Suit Blazer Waistcoat (Direct link: HERE)

I seldom splurge on outerwear except for formal long-sleeve blazers, but I really love this sleeveless piece in black which makes it versatile and suitable for both casual and formal occasions. Lightweight fabric, comfortable fitting and cute side pockets, what else can I ask for?

Women Vintage Side-Zipper Buckle PU Leather Shoulder Bag in Brown (Direct link: HERE)

A brown shoulder bag is a must-have item in the wardrobe, do you agree? I become extra picky when it comes to bags, because I need something large (to fit my DSLR camera), sturdy (because of the weight I carry) and most importantly, it comes in a "safe" color so that I can easily match it with any outfit.

Bandage Bodycon Asymmetric Cocktail Mini Dress (Direct link: HERE)

So I bring the same bag to another event I attended a couple of weeks ago, to pair with my monotonous asymmetrical dress. It may look simple but I like its good cutting-- It is body-fitting but not overly body-hugging for me, just nice to give that clean, professional look. 

Overall, it has been a pleasant experience shopping with NewChic, although the only downside is that, the parcel may take up to a month to arrive (Depending on locations). Perhaps it's time for me to start shopping for the upcoming Chinese New Year! ❤
