Hungry Bunch Cafe @ Sunway Pyramid

Hungry Bunch, a relatively new cafe in Sunway Pyramid has recently gained much popularity among youngsters and family alike because of its wide array of food choices which are suitable for all-day dining, be it breakfast, lunch, tea or dinner.

The minimalistic interior exudes cosiness and comfort to diners,

but it can get a bit noisy when the crowd becomes overwhelming during weekends.

Trio Cheese Omelette @ RM9.00

I am delighted to find that some breakfast items such as French Toast, Pasta and Trio Cheese Omelette have affordable price tags of below RM10 on the menu!

My choice for brunch is the perfectly pan-fried golden omelette, consisting of double egg with a trio of cheeses-- mozzarella, parmesan and cheedar cheese-- alongside a side of salad, agaricus mushrooms and baked beans. The egg is very gooey and savoury with pronounced flavours of cheese melted within the omelette.

Eggs Louisiana @ RM18.00

A nice variation from the usual Salmon Egg Benedict, I am tempted by the golden Cajun sauce drizzled in the plate of Eggs Louisiana. If you love the strong flavour of yellow mustard, this is a hearty dish that you'd enjoy.

The poached egg is well-executed too; A gentle poke reveals
flowy egg yolk which is then absorbed by the bread.


Homemade Mushroom Soup @ RM8.00

 Best pair your meal with the homemade mushroom soup that is not too creamy,
served with croutons and garlic bread. 

Chocolate Brownie @ RM12.00

Desserts here are aplenty and we enjoy pairing our warm and soft brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, plus it is generously drizzled with warm chocolate sauce. Definitely an indulgence for the sweet tooth.

Red Berry Rush @ RM15.00

Another homemade dessert that you may like is the pancake in 3 flavours-- Strawberry, Chocolate and Banana. Among the trio, the strawberry pancake tops my favourite as I sink my teeth into the fluffy pancake and vanilla ice cream with a dash of sweet strawberry sauce. I bet it'll be kids' favourite too!

Bananarama @ RM12.00

Banana pancake, on the other hand, is more aromatic and not as sweet as the rest. Equally comforting as the finale of the meal before washing it down with a cup of latte here.

Peanut Butter Banana Cake @ RM12.00

If you are here for a quick sweet treat, just grab a slice of cake from the chiller. I have my favourite piece of "The King", a moist banana cake layered with chunky thick peanut butter. I remember trying this flavour at other cafes, and I am glad to find it available here too.

Overall, if you're looking for relatively cheaper eats under a cosy cafe ambiance in Sunway Pyramid,

Hungry Bunch is worth checking out.
