A Romantic Affair with Roofino under the Moonlit Starry Sky ❤

Dining under the sky is an intriguing concept which has always been my favourite for special occasions. Just as I thought KL is bombarded with many rooftop restaurants, the latest establishment in town, Roofino Sky Dining & Bar has just opened its doors along Jalan Tun Razak and is ready to change the game. 

Taking our dining experience to new heights, Roofino is set amidst the magnificent skyline of Kuala Lumpur, bringing us 360-degree views of the city with night breezes sweeping our hair into a dance.

At 34 floors up, it feels incredibly good to have the world under our feet, and it is peaceful watching the constant streams of traffic and brightly-lit skyscrapers far below us.

The interior of the dining area adds another class to the overall surroundings. Colorful, fun and comfortable, it seems only right to begin the glamorous evening with a glass of wine or cocktail. Whichever you prefer, just let the bartender impress you with his creations. 

STARTER

Trio di Bruschetta 

We start with a platter of bruschetta, in 3 different types of toppings: Smoked Salmon (Classic!), Smoked Duck Breast and Creamy Mushroom. The texture and taste is wonderful, making us more eager for the next dishes to come. 

SOUP

Baked Onion Soup

Creamy, warm, and it really hits the spot during chilly days!

MAIN COURSES

Pan-seared Seabass with Angel Hair Pasta Tossed in a Special Signature Sauce

For mains, I pick my favourite seafood-- Flaky seabass blanketed with crisp skin, served with a side of angel hair pasta in spicy tangy sauce-- while my dining partner opts for the beef tenderloin served with garlic herb butter and truffle mash.

The luscious dishes wouldn't be complete without downing a glass of red wine that cuts through the rich meaty flavours. The best part is, we can savour them slowly, enjoying the lovely weather and bright city lights.

DESSERT

Mango Cream with Ginger Biscuits and Ice Cream

Moving on to the dessert, we manage to find room for the Mango Cream, a heavenly rich creamy dessert injected with fresh mango flavour and accompanied by crunchy bits of cookies and one scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Happy time flies quickly. Although it is getting late, we are reluctant to leave without enjoying a pint or two at the couches outdoors. ❤
