Eat All You Can at Hwa Ga (火家) Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant

Are you up for a sumptuous Korean BBQ Ala Carte Buffet from only RM39++ onwards?

An affordable, full-of-meat Korean BBQ buffet definitely sounds like a good deal to me. Therefore I am here at Hwa Ga (火家) to pamper my tummy with a delicious Korean treat.

Hwa Ga's recently opened outlet at Sunway Giza is located on the first floor, and you need to use the stairway at the side of the building. If you find this area a bit far from you, you can also visit Hwa Ga's other outlets at Sunway Mentari, Sri Petaling, Mont Kiara, Ara Damansara, Damansara Perdana and Kepong.

Just a brief introduction on Hwa Ga -- It offers affordable, casual BBQ buffet dining where you can enjoy all types of Korean food under one roof without burning a hole in the pocket

At Hwa Ga, you just need to sit down, relax, order anything you want on the menu and eat your heart out! The ala carte menu features 31 Korean dishes, including more than 10 types of barbecue meats (beef, chicken, pork, squid), as well as other Korean snacks such as rice cake, pancake, bibimbap and Korean fried chicken.

For ultimate freshness, the staff will prepare the food upon ordering and send the items to your table. All the items on the buffet menu is unlimited refillable, just EAT!

For the fresh BBQ meats, there are 11 types altogether:
Pork Belly
Sliced Pork Belly
Pork Belly with Mushrooms
Grilled Sliced Pork Belly in Korean Spicy Sauce
Grilled Pork Ribs
Grilled Marinated Pork
Stir Fried Squid and Pork Belly with Spicy Sauce
Pork Jowl
Grilled Cross Cut Rib
Beef Belly
Beef Marinated in Soy Sauce

Given that it is an ala carte "self-service" buffet, you just need to barbecue the meat by yourselves on the hot marble plate.

Sliced pork belly is one of the most popular items here!

The sliced pork belly in Korean spicy sauce is highly recommended for its rich savoury flavours.

If it is meat that you are craving for, apart from pork and beef, they have the currently trendy Korean chicken too -- Yangnyeom Chicken in Sweet and Chilli Sauce as well as classic fried chicken. I love the thick coating of sauce that gives a nice spicy and sweet kick to the juicy meat!

Kimchi Jjigae (Kimchi Stew)

After trying out more than 10 types of meat, by now we are already half stuffed. But that doesn't stop us from going for other Korean favourite dishes such as hot stew, pancakes, fried rice, and Korean noodles.

Sundubu Jjigae (Spicy soft tofu stew)

One of my personal favourites is the beancurd stew -- So rich and thick with gooey egg in the concoction. Definitely a healthier option for those who prefer a lighter and non-meat option.

Bibimbab (Mixed rice with vegetables)

The Bibimbab comes in two types here: One served in bowl, another in hot stone pot. For one who is craving for comfort food that warms the stomach, definitely the latter is a better option.

Dolsot Bibimbab (Mixed rice with vegetables served in hot stone pot)

Pajeon (Spring Onion Pancake)

For the pancake, each portion comes in 4 big slices of crisp pancake. It is slightly thicker than the usual ones I have, nevertheless it tastes okay with the generous amount of filling and is not overly oily. However, it can fill up the stomach quickly, so group sharing is highly recommended.

Kimchijeon (Kimchi Pancake)

Tteokbokki (Spicy Rice Cake)

If you love something sweet and chewy, this dish is definitely for you.
But personally, I prefer it to be spicier for that instant kick on the palate.

Japchae (Glass Noodles with Vegetables)

Kimchi Ramyeon (Kimchi Korean Noodles)

Shin Ramyeon (Korean Noodles)

On top of the 31 dishes on the ala carte buffet menu, Hwa Ga also serves refillable complimentary ban-chan (Korean side dishes) for guests upon arrival. The awesome buffet deal is real here!

Drinks are not included in the All-You-Can-Eat Korean Ala Carte BBQ Buffet but no worries, you can always order them additionally. The alcoholic and non-alcoholic choices include Soju, Makgeoli, Beer, Plum Wine, Tea, Sodas and Juices.

Verdict:
Hwa Ga is a top choice for super valuable Korean BBQ barbecue buffet.
With 7 outlets available across KL/PJ, I am sure you can satisfy your Korean cravings at Hwa Ga.
