Beauty Review: Dr. Morita Facial Mask from Taiwan

Today’s beauty review is one of my favourite skincare regime – MASK! ❤ Believe it or not, pampering myself with a mask a day really helps in rejuvenating my tired-looking skin. I have been using lots of Korean masks, until recently I realise masks from Taiwan are not bad too.

So I have gotten few packs of masks from Dr. Morita (森田藥粧), the No. 1 selling facial sheet masks in Hong Kong! Dr. Morita mask is not the ordinary mask on the rack. With over 38 years of history, Dr Morita combines the best of medical-grade natural ingredients and advanced Japanese technology to produce highly effective facial sheet masks.

I am surprised that their range is very extensive! For my dry skin, the first thing I need is a moisture boost from Dr. Morita. The Moisture Essence Mask is part of Dr Morita’s Natural Organic Series and is infused with Hyaluronic Acid for a super moisturising effect. The ingredients include:

It feels soothing and highly moisturizing on the skin. Plump and rejuvenated after 20 minutes of usage.

What I Like: ★★★★☆

I like how it allows easy absorption of moisture into the skin without feeling too “burdensome” on the skin, hence applying it everyday is not an issue as it does not cause any breakouts for my skin.

It contains platinum colloid, black pearl extraction, multiple herbaceous whitening extraction, hyaluronic acid and moisturizing whitening ingredients which provides enough moisture and nutrition to skin exposed by stimulation from outside.

The clear, thin essence on the good quality sheet mask is lightweight and easy to be absorbed into skin.
Non-scented and non-sticky, just nice to apply the leftover essence around the neck.

Feel: ★★★★☆

After 15-20 minutes, I remove the mask before it dries up. And my skin can feel the plumpness and healthy glow although not much in terms of moisture. It also brightens the skin complexion well, without causing any discomfort.  

What I Like: ★★★★☆

I like how it fits into my skincare regime regardless of skin type.
Recommended especially for those who want brightening effects.
