It has been some time since my last visit to Eyuzu Japanese Cuisine, the award-winning contemporary Japanese restaurant in Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur. And it feels good to be back for its ever popular weekend Shumatsu Buffet Dinner.
Shumatsu Buffet Dinner

6.30pm - 10.00pm
RM118 nett per adult
RM59 nett per child
Free flow buffet including chilled juices and freshly brewed coffee/tea
*Reservation is required.
Shumatsu Buffet Dinner is available on both Saturday and Sunday evenings, offering a lavish spread of raw and cooked varieties ranging from the fresh sashimi and sushi to the piping hot teppanyakI grill.
If you are hungry for the buffet but the wallet is tight, then come on Sunday evening because for every table of 4 adult diners, one gets to dine for FREE.
On the buffet spread, of course the wide array of delicious Japanese selection keeps us craving for more. Some of the crowd's favourites are sushi, tempura, teppanyaki, ramen/soba, chawanmushi, oden, Japanese grilled items, garlic fried rice, mochi and the list goes on…
Fresh sashimi and sushi can be found at the sushi bar. It is good to see that
these fresh goodies are quickly replenished as soon as the plates are emptied.
But the main highlight in Eyuzu is the fresh, air-flown fish from Japan. Unlike any ordinary Japanese eatery, the type of fish delivered is actually unknown until the air-flown mystery box arrives at Eyuzu. On every Tuesday and Friday, the chefs here will be surprised by different types of fish such as Kakadu, Kinmedai, Kurodai, fresh live scallops and more. How interesting is that!
Next to the sashimi counter, we also grab some classic Japanese appetizers such as
the seasoned baby octopus, seaweed, marinated scallop etc.
At the hot food section, what not to be missed includes the cheese oyster, tempura, grilled fish, etc. You can also head to the live teppanyaki cooking station to order your fresh seafood and have it cooked on the spot.
Spot my favourite grilled Shishamo there!
Whether you love your noodles hot or cold, Eyuzu has gotten them covered.
And lastly, there is always space in the stomach for us to hit the dessert bar. You can either order some mochi and pancakes from the live cooking station, or head to the dessert section for some delectables cakes and pastries.
Did I forget to mention that the interior has changed quite a fair bit since my last visit? Eyuzu has 6 private dining rooms, each beautifully adorned with Japanese decors and able to fit up to 16 persons per room.
Verdict: Overall, for the perfect ambiance and fresh authentic taste of Japan, Shumatsu Buffet Dinner is definitely worth the price especially with the Sunday deal.
Apart from Shumatsu buffet dinner, Eyuzu is open for lunch (12noon - 2.30pm)
and dinner (6.30pm - 10.30pm) serving ala carte menu.

Great share...........The buffet server has two writes. The one that uses the light to warm up, and the one that has power association. Be that as it may, the exemplary kind may intrigue the vast majority who esteem much on the class, unmistakable quality, and delicacy. What's more, the electric one may intrigue the person who frequently has the get-together. If you want to know more, Please check out here: Buffet Servers
