[BEAUTY] Review: MAMONDE Flower Facial Mask

Can't believe it has been a good 1.5 year of using Mamonde skincare and makeup products! [Wash-off Mask] Petal Purifying Bubble Mask (100ml) @ RM85

Among all, my personal favourite is this rose-infused mask because it works miracle on my tired, dull-looking skin. Made from rose petals, antioxidant-rich green tea and peppermint extracts, it offers excellent calming, moisturising and anti-oxidative effect. So if you wanna bid goodbye to dullness and bring the skin back to life, you gotta try this out.

How To Use:

1. After cleansing, refine the skin with toner.

2. Put an adequate amount on dry hands and apply a thick layer over face (Avoid eye and mouth area).

3. Wait for fine bubbles to form within 1 minute.

4. Apply warm water onto skin and massage the lather gently.

5. Wash off thoroughly with warm water.

*Always close both the inner and outer caps after use to prevent contact with air.

True to its name, the purifying effect is no joke. As soon as the mask touches the skin, the fine bubbles slowly start to pop up and become more concentrated as I add  some water onto the skin. By then I can feel the "sparkling sensation" on the skin, but don't worry, it feels very soothing without any tingling discomfort.

After washing it off, I can feel a totally revitalised and radiant skin -- so clear and purified.

Highly recommended for dry, dull and fatigue skin. ❤ 

[Wash-off Mask] Pore Clean Clay Mask (100ml) @ RM85

If you have enlarged pores issue or oily-prone skin, try the Clay Mask as it is made of natural mineral clay infused with grounded Heartleaf Hottyunia and walnut shells. Do you know that the main ingredient -- Heartleaf Hottyunia leaves -- is widely used as herbal medicine because of its strong antibacterial properties? Now Mamonde has transformed it into a mask to absorb excess sebum and exfoliate dead skin cells on skin surface.

How To Use:

1. After cleansing, refine the skin with toner.
2. Apply an adequate amount of the Pore Clean Clay Mask on dry face.
3. Spread thoroughly all over the face except for the eye and mouth area.
4. Wash off with warm water after 10-15 minutes.

Texture wise, it is creamy soft and mild with very fine "dots" that act as an exfoliator. I like how gentle it feels on skin and easily spreads across the skin when I apply a thin layer onto it. Just a quick 15-minute clay mask treatment is good enough to make the skin feel extremely soft, smooth and supple while maintaining its oil balance.

[Leave-on Mask] Calming Hydro Sleeping Mask (100ml) @ RM85

On the other hand, Mamonde's latest leave-on sleeping mask is equally great especially after a long day out. Whenever I feel lazy / too tired to do mask, I can just slap on some sleeping mask and head straight to bed. How convenient is that!

Plus, one of them is made from my favourite Calendula! Dubbed as “Pot Marigold”, it is not only a popular cooking ingredient, but also the skin’s best friend when it comes to soothing and hydration. The Calming Hydro Sleeping Mask is blended with Calendula petals, Centella, Aloe Vera and Cucumber extracts to calm skin and lock moisture.

How To Use:

1. Take an adequate amount and apply over face (Avoid eye and mouth area) and leave overnight.
2. Wash off lightly in the next morning.
Or,
3. Apply a very thin layer onto the skin for 3 minutes to prep the skin before applying makeup. So, the makeup can stay put for longer hours.

Apart from the lightweight water-gel texture, I enjoy how it gives a cooling and refreshing sensation as soon as it touches the skin. No unpleasant stickiness on the skin too. What's better than sleeping in an air-conditioned room while snuggling under the blanket with the mask on? Overall, it is great calming and moisture booster for dry and sensitive skin.

[Leave-on Mask] Enriched Nutri Sleeping Mask (100ml) @ RM85

Last but not least, I also try the Enriched Nutri Sleeping Mask which is an all-rounder for skin moisture and nourishment. Formulated using the Flower Oil Complex comprising of 3 types of Flower Oils (Evening Primrose Oil, Camellia Oil and Sunflower Oil), the mask is also infused with moisturizing ingredients extracted from the Evening Primrose to specially catered for bloated skin and dehydrated skin.

How To Use:

1. Take an adequate amount and apply over face (Avoid eye and mouth area) and leave overnight.

2. Wash off lightly in the next morning.

Similarly, the smooth-textured mask glides gently onto skin and leaves the skin dewy upon application. Plus, it also contains nutrient capsules to help fortify the protective layer of the skin, reducing the harm from external pollutants. So if you want a mask with excellent moisturising and nourishing finish without any stickiness, this is for you.

Overall Verdict:

The 4 products under MAMONDE Flower Facial Mask Series are equally great to benefit different skin needs. But if there is only one product that you must try from this line, it would be the Petal Purifying Bubble Mask!
