Do you remember my previous stay in Sojourn Guesthouse, a part of Herbaline wellness group in Pandan Indah? Feel free to read my experience: HERE

The experience there was amazing, and I am excited to hear that HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary is now open in Ipoh. And I'm looking forward to spending a night or two there. Concept wise, it is similar to the Pandan Indah outlet as it lives by its tagline "Eat Well, Look Well & Live Well".

HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh, the perfect avenue for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway

It consists of Sojourn Guest House, HerbaLine Facial Spa and Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen, bringing us a complete wellness experience under one roof!

Sojourn Guest House

Accommodation wise, Sojourn offers 41 rooms in total, ranging from simple Superior Rooms to spacious and luxurious Signature Family Rooms. Perfect for both couple and family groups.

Complimentary lemongrass welcome drinks: So soothing and palatable!

With a tagline “Like home but better”, of course we expect a relaxing and cosy stay, and indeed it does not disappoint.

Our Duplex King Room

So huge and cosy! Plus, it is well-equipped with basic amenities such as toiletries, safety box, hair dryer, towel, iron and board, toothbrush and paste, TV, slippers as well as glass bottles of purified water. Perfectly simple and nice for a night stay or two.

It has an extra day bed on the upper level!

Outside the room, each floor exudes a different sense of comfort and coziness, and has its own designated lounges for guests to chill, read some books, enjoy the tea, etc. I love hanging around this public space for some healing and rejuvenating moments.

Roof Garden

On the 3rd floor, there is a 24-hour Laundry Room for guests and an outdoor roof garden area for those who prefer a more airy and vibrant space. Let's surround ourselves with the beautiful greenery and fresh air!

For meetings, events, workshops or gatherings, you can utilise the Conference Hall located on the 1st Floor.

Even the parking lot is so beautiful at night!

HerbaLine Facial Spa

The wellness journey wouldn't be complete without a spa treatment at HerbaLine Facial Spa. There are so many services to choose from, including various cleansing, moisturizing and lifting facials or body massage treatments - complemented by value-added services such as sea salt foot bath, fish spa therapy, detox lemongrass drinks etc.

Here it promises a refreshing experience which rejuvenates, heals and soothes the body, mind and soul. This encapsulates the essence of wellness and health from inside out.

One of the must-try treatments is the 40-minute Antioxidant Hot Bed Therapy which incorporates cutting-edge wellness technology from Japan, to deliver a rejuvenating experience with lots of health benefits such as:

❤ Stimulate cell regeneration and promote metabolism

It is 42 - 45°C inside, but it doesn't feel stuffy or burning at all. Happy to spend a good 40 minutes

Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen

Since we are staying overnight here, it is a must to enjoy our favourite Sauna Mee at Mama Kim. Taking the philosophy of “Where Healthy Is Yummy”, Mama Kim's healthy eating concept of 80% vegetable and 20% meat makes it a popular spot in the neighbourhood.

The breakfast menu: Super affordable and healthy!

We order the signature Sauna Mee (this is Baby version - smaller portion for breakfast), and it tastes excellent as always. Filled with plenty of healthy ingredients, it tastes very comforting in the tummy while we can enjoy the hot piping soup to the last spoon!

Overall, the food in Mama Kim is always so good. No MSG, no sugar, no white flour, less salt and less deep-fried ya! I can just come back again and again without feeling bored.

Verdict:

HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary, Ipoh is a great place to relax, rejuvenate and recharge. While I can do some food hunting in the old town of Ipoh, the pampering and spa wellness journey can only be experienced here in HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary, Ipoh.

Definitely looking forward to revisit during my next trip to the North!
