[FOOD] Review: Dine & Wine at The Barn, Sunway Pyramid

The Barn or more aptly known as The BAR°N is the place where you can enjoy great food paired with a fine selection of old and new world wines amidst the seductive ambiance that perfects every occasion be it a date night, birthday celebration or any special occasions. 

So we are here for our date night at The Barn Sunway Pyramid outlet,

located at Oasis Boulevard. It is easily noticeable from the main road.

House Pouring Wine (Red or White) @ RM15 

Glancing through the menu, we are impressed by the wide array of pasta, pizza, steak, local fares as well as light bites. But what not to be missed is of course the booze menu featuring a complete list of renowned liquor, wine and beer. Personally, I think nothing beats having a good sip of wine during weekend so we opt for the house pouring wine. 

Crispy Pork Belly @ RM29  

When it comes to sharing platter, you just can't miss the porky selections here such as the pork ribs, pork satay, meatballs and crispy pork belly. Well, being a hog lover, I must say the crispy pork belly just nails it in terms of crispiness and the right balance of fats and meat. Perfect to go with cold beers too.

Margherita Pizza @ RM39

As for the mains, we go for something classic from the pizza selection. Biting through the crisp-thin crust with bursting flavours from the fresh buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and tomato marinara is indeed an enjoyment on its own. Ideal for cheese lovers! 

Seafood Spaghetti Sarawak Laksa @ RM33

If you are feeling adventurous, try the interesting rendition of Sarawak Laksa which is reinvented into a creamy (but spicy!) spaghetti dish. It is beautifully crowned by a generous amount of seafood such as sauteed prawns, mussels and squids. Be careful, it may get a little fiery on the mouth.

Chocolate Lava @ RM25

Although the dessert selection is limited here, we are happy to see the cook-to-order chocolate lava cake on the menu and we can't wait to sink our sweet tooth into this delicate crust and oozing molten chocolate. A sweet indulgence to die for!

Verdict:

Overall, we have a great dine-and-wine experience here all thanks to the warm and seductive ambiance.

Looking forward to revisit The Barn and try its steak and meat selections next time.
