Yay, my long-awaited vacation is here and this round it's Cuti Cuti Malaysia at Lexis Hibiscus Port Dickson!

This marks my third time staying at Lexis Hibiscus because I really love this world record-breaking luxury resort especially the private pool and steam room in each water villa. You can check out my previous blog review HERE.

Just 1.5 hour drive away from KL (3.5 hours drive from Singapore), Lexis Hibiscus is the only family-friendly oceanfront resort in Malaysia featuring spacious 522 overwater villas featuring its own private pool and steam room.

Equipped with 2 king beds, each room is so spacious that makes it perfect for family vacation as it comfortable fits 4 persons. There is a velvety couch next to the bed, just nice to enhance the sense of luxury and comfort of the room.

Back to our room tour -- On top of the ample space, the amenities in the room are more than complete. Apart from the flat-screen TV with various movie selections, mini fridge, safe box, tea making facilities and large working desk, the in-room WiFi connection is very strong too - perfect for me to share my live stories with you guys :P

Apart from the attractive Mamonde gift set, the room also features its very own private pool which I enjoy the most. Chilling in the pool while admiring the glistening blue sea view during the day is a pure enjoyment on its own. When the night comes, this entire space is beautifully lit by the starry sky -- how romantic it is to sit by the pool at night while watching the shimmering stars?

There is also a steam room next to the pool for us to relax and unwind ourselves after a long travelling day. Feel free to adjust the temperature (up to 50°C) and have a good sweat out!

Rent a bike and let's have fun cycling!

Lexis Hibiscus also features generous exterior spaces where you can enjoy cycling, skating and skateboarding. Definitely a family-perfect spot to experience different activities together. If you can't ride a bike, you can always get a tandem bicycle there.

What about strolling along the Hibiscus Walk, a beautiful beach overseeing the floating villas?

Our breakfast in the next morning is pretty satisfying as the all-day dining restaurant serves a mix of local and international cuisine to fuel our day. If you are feeling peckish during the day, feel free to hop over to UMI Japanese restaurant for some Japanese treat, or Coralz Bistro for cakes and coffee, or even call for room service.

Not forgetting to mention the hotel offers buggy service to ferry the guests within Lexis Hibiscus.

Verdict:

I'd definitely revisit Lexis Hibiscus mainly for its in-room pool with panoramic sea view, spacious room layout, and recreational activities such as cycling, etc. It would be a perfect vacation for families, without having to travel overseas.
