The world’s beauty standards have never been as high as they are today.
It can feel like a weight on your shoulders, right? Everywhere you turn, from social media to billboard ads, you’re
confronted with perfectly shot and edited images of industry models. This leads many women down the endless
path of searching for new and creative ways to enhance their own beauty. However, this usually involves
spending obscene amounts of money when there are much more effective and affordable alternatives. Keep
reading if you want to learn more!
Botox
Many people dream of being able to get botox, but they wrongly assume that it’s exclusively meant for mega-rich
celebrities and influencers – this couldn’t be further from the truth! Now, botox is more affordable than ever
before. SDBotox are industry experts who will provide you with a personalized botox treatment plan. They will also
educate you on the procedures to ensure that you are relaxed and know that you’re in perfectly capable hands!
So, if you’re passionate about reducing the appearance of any lines and wrinkles you have, as well as giving your
face a new and improved glow, you should give botox some consideration.
Exfoliate your lips with your toothbrush (and some honey and sugar)
Lips are a huge talking point when it comes to women’s beauty. Influencers like Kylie Jenner – who’s openly admitted to using lip fillers – have driven the desire for the ‘perfect lips’. But when it comes to your lips, you don’t
need to do much to enhance them. In fact, all you need to do is exfoliate and moisturize them!
You might be surprised to know that your toothbrush is a great exfoliation tool for your lips, as you can gently rub
it against them in circles to remove any dead skin. And for improved results, you can mix a little honey and sugar
together in a glass, dip your finger in, and gently circle your finger around your lips the same way. After, make
sure to apply a lip balm, such as cocoa Vaseline, and you’ll be good to go!
Use coconut oil to moisturize your hair
Right now, the beauty market is awash with thousands and thousands of hair masks and conditioners – it can be
overwhelming, to say the least. But here’s a nifty little trick: Try using coconut oil in your hair once or twice a
week. You only need a small amount to rub between your fingers, which you can then dispense throughout your
hair (leave it in for around 10-20 minutes). After, wash the coconut oil out with water and marvel at your new and
improved silky hair!
Dap your face with ice cubes to soothe any blemishes
If your skin is prone to blemishes, don’t worry, it’s the same for most people. There are plenty of ways you can
eliminate these blemishes, such as acne creams and washes. But a great addition on top of all this is to try ice
cubes (here’s a full guide on how to do this). Ice cubes help to reduce any inflammation and skin redness, which
can be a lifesaver if you have any important events coming up, such as parties or weddings.
