Hello, July! ❤
July began with some serious study time, coupled with several food reviews which I enjoyed doing thus far. Overall, July is nothing short of fun and playful times.
Study time @ IRAS
01.07.2024 | July began with a 3-month tax course which I always wanted to do when I first started working in Singapore. Glad to be part of this as it helps a lot in the course of work I encounter everyday. Can't wait to complete it by end August!
Kimchi Dining ❤
06.07.2024 | Our first weekend date in July was a Korean contemporary dining review which I personally enjoyed very much. Would love to be back here for some delectable Korean treats. Read more about my review here.
Pocha! K-Street Dining ❤
07.07.2024 | Korean treat continued in Pocha! where the fun, quirky Korean street food feast began. Thanks again for the invite.
12.07.2024 - 14.07.2024 | Hello, Manila! It's my 4th trip of the year and I am here to spend a quick weekend getaway at Makati. The short trip was all about visiting the Walled City of Intramuros -- the ancient city of Manila during the Spanish colonial period -- as well as exploring the cafes in the modern and vibrant Makati business district.
旬水 SHUNSUI @ Hong Kong Street
18.07.2024 | July continued with another amazing Omakase experience at SHUNSUI, the merger of Kyuu by Shunsui and Kappo Shunsui (five-time Michelin Plate awardee between 2018-2023). Our Fuga Omakase course ($179+) kinda brought me back to Japan -- so delicious! Read more about my review here.
20.07.2024 | People often say “if you think you can remember something forever, please write it down because you can’t.” Hence, penning this sweet memory down so that my future self will be able to read this and carve a smile on the face :)
Thank you for making me feel like a princess as always. And thank you
for being my personal photographer, my chef of the day and my guardian angel!
27.07.2024 | Homebound for my last dental visit to get my permanent retainer *yay*! Finally, so happy to hear from my dentist that I will only see her next year for annual dental health checkup. Also managed to hang out with bestie at the latest social scene in town, enjoying the breezy beach vacation vibes.
❤❤❤
J U L Y || July flew past a lot quicker than expected, because I had been living life at full speed for the past few weeks. Having so many things to do with the little pockets of time I have outside of working hours, actually made me feel more contented and stable mentally, away from the unnecessarily dark thoughts.
Bad dreams and nightmares do come by at times, but few and far in between. Nevertheless, I think July has been a good start of the second half of the year -- bringing myself another step closer to achieving little milestones in life. Can't wait to share more about them in August. Till then, stay happy and grateful! ❤
xoxo,
FiSh
