03.09.2024 | So happy to be able to find a shop full of penguins in Singapore! Umai is an artisanal udon bar, which uses pudgy penguin as the mascot. I was so elated to wear the penguin napkin throughout the meal -- cuteee!
My favourite here is the Miso Carbonara with 72-hour slow-cooked black pork (so tender that it falls off the bone!), applewood smoked bacon & duck, plus loads of cheese. Best to make reservations to avoid long queues.

S E P T E M B E R || September is the beginning of the year-end hustle at work before going off in December. ❤ It brings a lot of simple happiness despite the ever increasing workload. And I am truly thankful for every little blessing I have throughout this journey :)
