October; yet another busybee month. ❤
Hi, October! ❤ October has been a super hectic month for work. Weekends were spent mostly for work, work and work. Just another month of crunch and I can smell freedom very soon!
Now....back to the little happy things of the month...
All in Paradise 2024 ❤
04.10.2024 | Had our annual company event at Sentosa Island, and it was pretty interesting, fun and easy. Good to unwind and chill on a Friday evening and enjoy lots of food with the mates.
CIMB Great Green Run 2024 ❤
12.10.2024 | My first 5km official run in Singapore! Luck was on our side as we managed to complete the run before the heavy downpour. The route around Marina Barrage and Marina Bay Sands was pretty easy too.
The most interesting part of the run was the unique finisher's medal made from recycled wood and wool from Bhutan! Green is the future!
Favourite Folkyard ❤
12.10.2024 | Post-running brunch at Folkyard, the nearest cafe we could visit without having to travel at all. Their open-faced parma ham sandwich is our constant favourite. Wish I could have a chillax brunch like that for the rest of the month. too.
A Beautiful Cafe & Tea Room @ Paya Lebar
13.10.2024 | Foodie in action! Back to my monthly food review, and this round we had a tea-rific treat in A Beautiful Cafe and Tearoom for its amazing spread of single-origin Lapshang Souchong, served in a classic whisky bottle as well as the tea-tail (creative tea-based mocktail). A sweet and lovely Sun-date indeed!
Mensho Tokyo @ Raffles City ❤❤❤
15.10.2024 | The award-winning ramen here is honestly no joke. It was my first time visiting Mensho (I haven't been to the original outlet in Tokyo) and the experience was simply mind-blowing. We had the Signature Toripaitan, a collagen-rich chicken broth-based ramen with an amazing special ramen texture, complemented with the Kurozu Karaage Fried Chicken. Truly a wonderful meal!
Homebound. ❤
19.10.2024 | Back home for the weekend and had my hair rituals in the ever popular Number76 Bangsar outlet. Lovin' the light, flowy hair that feels like having a weight lifted off my shoulder!
Tour Vespucci ❤
26.10.2024 | October concluded with a pleasant visit to the world's most beautiful ship - Amerigo Vespucci - the world-renowned Italian Navy training ship. Throughout the world tour, it has been sailing across 30 ports, 28 countries, 5 continents. And we were lucky to be able to step foot on the ship as it made a debut visit to Singapore, being the 25th port, 20th country and the 4th Villaggio Italia of the Tour Vespucci.
Happy to be on board to admire the beautiful, intricate details of the 93-year-old ship. Definitely a one-of-a-kind experience in the maritime history.
❤❤❤
O C T O B E R || October has been a pain. A painful month of self-doubt, loneliness and loss of sense of belonging. It is painful going through the grind during the days and lonely nights. And it feels like I have not been so depressed for some time now..... May November be a better month ahead.
xoxo,
FiSh
